So I was just cruising my typical porn sites....you know, fishing forums, and I came across a post from a resort owner in march fishing in 3 foot waves from the dam for muskies. Water temp was in the 40's from what I can tell, but he had a heck of a day. 5 pure strain ski's in 3.5 hours......crazy

I have caught fish in cold water in March and in November. Both times water temps were in the 40's. I will say however, that the time I spend on the water those times of year are among the most enjoyable. No jet skis, no other boats, no competition.... It is cold however and time between fish is longer. Just have to grin and chalk it up to muskie fishing.
