Photos from Mayfield Lake Tiger Muskie Tourney

Post by KUP » Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:55 am

Well, since none of us have recovered from the grueling 2 days in the hot sun, it looks like I will post 1st and I am sure more will jump on with more details.
In the last few hours of the tourney, Bob M. from Montesano netted a 33 x 14 handsome tiger muskie. It was sweet success for him as he has spent many hours hunting the allusive esox both in Washington as well as in the Midwest, using muskie guides. Ryan, his son, was his excellent netman.
The field would have included 12 boats, or 24 anglers, but three Chapter members generously gave up their opportunity at fame and offered to be the 2 judge boats, thanks: Buddy, Mike & Perry.
Even though the fishing was tough, the rest of the event made up for it.
Lots of good times around the campfire and stories got bigger as the night went on.
The Big Raffle was the the most successful in Chapter history; great job, everyone for supporting the Tiger Muskie Program and WDFW. This is only a small sample of the 200 photos that were taken by 3 people; we will post more on the TIGER PAC website this week.

Tiger Muskies are sterile.
You can't keep them under 50 inches:
Let them do their job: Eating N.P.Minnows

Hello All,

Hey "Cudaman" you were definitely missed...we missed your "magic" touch, and lures, out there!

It was another hot and clear day....ahhhhh, weekend! I was getting sun-burned even with the old faithful Banana-Boat on! You don't suppose it was the name do you...LOL...Heck, the moon was so full, and bright, up at camp one could have been moon-burned! Howl....

Mike, and I had a great time as "judges" over the weekend. Thanks for the use of your great boat Mike. It was a life-saver in the hot weather!

Congrats, to Bob on his his first ever "Tiger" and winning the Tourney...not to mention that wonderful BBQ! from the raffle that you took home!... Sunday, was a pretty good day for you! Great job! I'm happy we were part of it...There is always something "special" about catching that first muskie!

Anyway, I believe everyone had a great time and that these pictures tell the story... Thanks, to all of you who participated in this Event and sharing some quality time with us all! No worries....Remember, what happens in "Muskie Meadows" stays in Muskie Meadows...."Mr. Six Foot Midget" & "Mr. Smlesses"...LOL...great times! Thanks for coming out:compress:

To all of our "Old Friends"... and to all of our "New Friends"...can't wait to do it all again...

Thanks for the good times...

****P.S. - Please check out our "Sponsor Wall" in the background...I would personally like to thank each Sponsor for their donations and helping out the "NW TIGER PAC", and Muskies, Inc. a 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION...We could not do this without your generosity...THANKS!:colors:
