MUSKIES, INC at the SPORTSMAN SHOW!

Post by KUP » Fri Jan 28, 2011 3:49 am

For the 4th year, Muskies, Inc. CH#57 is once again at the Sportsman Show in Puyallup.
Stop by and say "hi". The booth is in the Expo hall, Booth #963.
It is right next to the Blue Theater, where the Anglers of the Year, Mike Floyd and Brett Olson are giving Tiger muskie Seminars all week. Be sure to check the schedule and drop by to hear these great speakers.
MEGA RAFFLE: For a $2.00 Raffle Donation, you could win a NICE 32" LCD HDTV and other prizes.
See File Attachment for details.

The attendance at the Show has been fantastic the 1st 2 days;
come early for close parking because the next 3 days are going to be BUSY.
Don't forget the Dock Dogs Competition, too - it is a blast.
And, of course, stop by booth 357 in the ShowPlex bldg. to say hi to Mike and Toni at the washingtonlakes.com booth!!

:bounce: Looks like you are having a good time at the Sportsman's Show. Sounds like it's been a good crowd from day one of the show. A BIG thank you to all of you Chapter 57 members that are volunteering to man the booth this year :salut: it's alot of fun isn't it! Really sorry we couldn't make it over to help this year #-o maybe next year.
Rosann

p.s. Sell/buy lots of raffle tickets so we can help out the WDFW plant more Tiger Muskies!!!!!! I'm hoping Bill and I win either the TV (we don't have a flat screen yet) or the cool rod and tackle cabinet but good luck to all of you that buy tickets.

I added a few new pictures, above. Fishing is a family event, eh? Check out who is helping with the map!

Rosann, we missed you and Bill this year; you want to make a road trip next year? :-"
Show has been packed: lots of fun. Heard lots of wild tales about muskie, too; always do!
Got a lot of people signed up for the big Mega Raffle - $2.00 is a good buy for a nice LCD HDTV!
And even more signed up to learn about Tiger muskies, too.
If you haven't been by yet, make sure to come on down to the Expo bldg. and say hi. It's near the Gold Gate.

Took these young-uns above to watch the Dock Dogs, too.
What a delight that was - those dogs can fly! 22 feet! Lots of laughter,
too, when some got cold feet at the last minute (inch!).:bounce:

Well the show has come to an end and all I can really say is...............WOW

We meet a countless number of people interested in Tiger Muskies and at time clogged the aisle way with people crowded around our both asking questions. I have volunteered at this event in years past and don’t remember seeing this kind of interest in some time now.

Anyway I wanted to thank all those that took time out to volunteered and make this yet another successful event and to welcome the numerous new anglers into chapter 57.

Man, this is going to be a GREAT year….

We all certainly look forward to meeting you at our next upcoming meeting this Thursday at 6:30 pm over at Rock Table Pizza in Federal Way. Chapter 57 is a one of a kind club and the Muskie Inc organization is a staple for how great fishing really is on and off the water. I am sure it will be great to add more life to the party, look forward to meeting you!!! Keep the lines tight and lures ready!!!

A few more photos from Chapter #57 Muskies, Inc. Booth at the 2011 Sportsman Show.
Thanks, again for all the Chapter volunteers who make this happen every year.
And if you are one of the many anglers who stopped by, remember, meetings are free and stay in touch!

Great Pictures!

It was good to see all the people at the show this year! Thanks to all of you who stopped by to ask questions, chat, or tell a "tail" or two! I think the attendance for the show, overall, was up this year also... Let's hope we are coming out of this economic slump so we can all spend some more time on the water this year! A few extra bucks sure can help:)

Who will be the first Muskies, Inc. Member in the State of Washington to break that 50" barrier? A couple of our members came close last year... Two 49 inchers: Mike F. & Ed H.! There are also a couple of great prizes that our Chapter is giving away should you be that lucky person... of course, all you have to do is catch that 50 plus inch Tiger at the right time;) Good Luck to all!

Great Show Everyone!

Fantastic people!
