Just pick a spot and try. If someone does give you a spot, the likelyhood will be that it is a combat infested inferior hole, the type of hole that should be avoided at all cost. The best bet is to look on google maps and find the gnarliest most sloggiest **** show of a bushwhack you can find and fish there. If you have to pack rope and repel down a cliff then thats a bonus. The less people the better.

I've never fished the Wynoochee, but I would agree with Jon's statement. Don't do anything stupid, but there is a lot to be said for hitting "uncharted" water.
