Does anyone know anything about the noon rd access point?

If this photo embedding works, there three really nice looking areas there. But despite there being quad tracks everywhere there. There is a No Trespassing painted on the red gate just passed the corner.
There is a rapid, a clockwise boiling swirl, and a nice deep corner there.
Anyone know?
Noon Rd access?

Re: Noon Rd access?
The embed didn't work. Assuming you are talking about the Nooksack, yes there is access slightly downstream of there - after the road turns it changes name but I don't remember what it is called. There is parking on the shoulder and trails going back to the gravel bar. I have seen boats fishing that nice deep corner, and nets there as well.
Re: Noon Rd access?
There is no public access on the noon road.... ( even though I do have access to it thanks to my co-worker whom im not naming ) There is access at Nolte Road which is north of the noon and has some pretty good runs and a few holes and turns in the river.. The one to the west of nolte is known for having a bunch of snags at the end of the bar... There is also a large hole for farmer irrigation ( tube is across the river) and its a pretty deep hole if you can reach it....
Re: Noon Rd access?
The road I was thinking of is Abbot road - intersects Noon rd at the river. There are trails in from the shoulder about 100 yards or so down Abbot from Noon rd. There is plenty of river to walk once you are in there.dj2loud wrote:There is no public access on the noon road.... Re: Noon Rd access?
OK thanks. I saw the red gate about 100 yards away from the white gate on the corner of Noon and Abbott rd.
I saw lots of Quad tracks, but the big gate had "No Trespassing" on it. So I wanted to be sure.
