Wallace/ Sky updates???

Post by Teenangler07nwest » Thu Jan 21, 2016 10:32 am

Hi all as winter steelhead season is in full swing I finally have a free weekend to try and get my first. The reports seem really sparse these days. I am thinking of hitting the Wallace as hiking the middle stretch to try and get one or maybe as a ditch effort slap the water by the hatchery/ may creek area. Other thought was fish that big hole below Rieter whatever it's called. Please tell me where you think I should fish because I really want to get my first steelhead this winter. Tight lines and dry waders everyone, I'll see you guys out there.

With a little more water in the system now, fishing up by Gold Bar would be a good option. May have pushed more fish upriver, and should make them more willing to bite with clarity down a bit.
You never know what you'll discover..... If you take a couple of steps into the water.
