Im wanting to drift the Humptulips for the first time real soon (like tomorrow LOL) How is the Summer run going there? Anybody having any luck? What would be the best most productive drift for the novice oarsman ...Looking for a 4 or 5 hr late afternoon early evening drift

I am guessing the river is super low and clear and that you might have to get out and push in some spots but I would say the hatchery drift. it is kind of a hush hush fishery so you won't find too many fishing reports but I will say theres fish in there, just have to find first water or hit the morning bite.

I finally got a break so I went and looked at it the other day. It looked like I would be walking the boat a lot of the way . That river is low! Talked to a couple of guys bank fishing. low clear flows is making it really tough. Going to hold off.
