Heading down with a buddy this Sunday/Monday any advice would be awesome. I've never caught a steely and he hasnt caught one in ten years. Probably going to be fishing right by the dam(s) from shore unless anyone thinks it would be helpful to bring my boat.
Thanks guys,
Dan

if your going to fish from shore with shrimp and bobber i would set your stopper to about 8 to 12 ft, the steelhead this early in the year will be a little deeper because of the warm water temps.
