You can't thin out the crowds that easy. Just because I guide from a boat as well, doesn't mean I'm not teaching lessons from the bank as well. If you want to get out of the crowds, I'll throw you the WaLakes discount so you can ride in style.

While I was working my husband went down to fish the skook. Nice and high with nice clarity (for the skook.) He saw one fish caught while he was on the river. A huge fresh chromer, that was eventually beached, the line ripper exclaiming, "Hey its even in the mouth!" Jeez we both HATE that sentence. Anyways thats it for today, but I have a feeling Friday through the weekend it is going to be hot! Goodluck to those who venture!

Fished the Skookumchuck yesterday with my brother. The water was the lowest I've ever seen it, but there was still good flow with 2-3 feet of visibility. Went 0/3 myself but saw some beautiful fish being taken out as well as a couple of monsters caught (20+ range).

Kick ass boat bro saw it in person yesterday! Water was high at the skook and dropping yesterday there was some pulled but it wasn't "hot" atleast in the section we were.

Hmm So the Skook is doing good right now? I might be making a trip out there soon. Is the hatchery the better place to fish right now?

My dad and my buddy went down today. Dad went 4/10 and buddy went 8/12. Sounds like it was good.

I might head down there tomorrow.
