Okay, duwamish anglers quick question. When is the run ends in duwamish? Is still a good bet to fish on the first week of October.? A friend wanted to go fishing for the first time this river system would be a good place to start for him. Thanks

Oh yes ! You and your friend can visit that river/ lower/ Duwi?! They are rolling in full abundanse, doing their stupid tail dance right before your nose!
I think you have a better chance to catch one of them with your net then with a hook with anything on it! They are not taking anything, just jumping, rolling, landing on your float , whatever, but not biting at all! If you find the trick to get them , you are the very lucky guy. As for me no luck at all with trying everything, except kitchen sink. So frastrating and heart killing!
After that spot run a little bit up, before 405, stopped one secluded spot. Couple cast / more frastration. They are jumping like crazy right at your feet?!
No takers, biters, just tail/ finger demonstration!
Good luck and bless you with panishing them for their not respecting fisherman behavior!!!!!

Oh yes for sure you can go over there/ Duwamish!
They are rolling , jumping, tail dancing right before your nose, landing on your float with eggs under, showing finger to you, laughing, whatever, but not biting or taking whatever you offfer!
You have a greater chance to get them with your net, then with your hook with anything on it.
That is how close they are. That is about the morning with high tide.
Afternoon is the same, even worse frastrating: bigger, brighter, more ignorant stupid creatures!
Good luck and hope you will panishing them for such a behavior and no respect to the fisherman!
Best choise is dynomite only!
Good luck!
