Anyone trying this tournament? I sent my entry form and money in today. Its a 35 boat max, probably not full yet, but I'll confirm in a few days. Fishing was tough last year, rain and wind to start the morning. Got my only bite at 11:30, weighed 5-9 and took 3rd and $408. Missed big fish by 1.5 oz. Anyway, should be fun. Anytime you are hunting 8 lb bass, it keeps my attention all day.
The winners last year were probably locals and caught 16 lbs, hope they aren't there this year.

i was pitchs back seater, and we boated one at 3-04. i used WE very loosly since casey caught the fish lol. only about 7 fish total boated for the whole tourny. most people got blanked. im not sure where we placed i had to take off right after pitchs fish got weiged in. i think we took 4th or 5th. big fish and total weight was a 6 pound fish.. i think lol. fill us in on the rest Casey.

yeah the fishing was pretty poor. i didnt get a bite that i could actually say was a real bite all day. i forgot to fill up my stupid boat tank this morning and only had enough gas to go to one end of the lake and back. i caught a 4-2 last sunday, i sure wish i would have caught it today, i would have placed with it. the winner had only one fish that was a little over 6 they took home a little over $1500 for one bite. better luck next year i hope

Good job Pitch and TNJ !! You guys didn't get 4th or 5th, or you'd be in the money. Would suck to leave early and not collect your check, almost did it last year. Good job to both of you. That fishing sucked ! lol
Me and Susan got skunked like 25 something other boats. I can't complain too much, last year was 25 mph wind and rainy half the day. I actually got my first mild sunburn of the year
We tryed a variety of baits, and many different areas, wasn't going to happen today.
Not sure if I met you Jacob but sure I'll run into you somewhere.

Wow! I thought it'd be better than that, the weather looked great! at least here in Seattle. Tnj, what your buddy catch his bass with? Just curious.

That's cool man, the bass must have been in shock for the weather change.

Nice weather is almost always a bite killer on Silver. Several factors come into play. Mainly the fish there get hammered and the lake is extremely shallow. These factors tend to make the fish very skittish. Best days down there are typically when it is either raining or blowing, giving the fish a sense of security and cover.
