ADDICTED
The Drug Is The Tug- The Snag Is The Drag

I heard this somewhere and it is so true for myself.

Being on the water from sun up till sun down, 12-14 hrs on the water is common.
One Bass Boat isn't enough, 1 million in tackle and always need more.
BASS FISHING IS QUITE ADDICTIVE!!!!

So true. My wife always ask me why I need to buy something new everytime I go to a tackle shop. I just tell her bass are just as smart as humans so the more I have the better chance I have. Never know what they want that hour. Then I ask her would you bite this. She says no. I say thats why I have to buy something else.LOL

When your talking bass, it's never enough or always need more.
More Bass, more Boats and definitely "MORE TACKLE"- rjn cajun, I'd say your hooked!

Been hooked for a long time. Started out back home in the bayou as a filler till hunting season came around. Now it`s taking over hunting season. Bought her a new car so it`s my turn for a new boat. Can`t wait to see her reaction when the boats just as much as the car.:-#

Have had this addiction for over 30 years myself and still can't get enough. Fished Silver Lake Cowlitz County and was humbled by very few takers. Just makes me want to go back and try to figure it out so one day I can catch another 9 lber again.

Yep, We're 'down with the sickness' I used to get in a lot of trouble skiping school to sneak off and go fishig. #-o Hit Silver Lake also Russ and Sunday was pretty good(surprising) and Monday was tough. Just when I thought I was getting something going.

Definitely addicted. The g/f just shakes her head when she sees my gear/tackle and yet I think I need more. Well, I always need more. I just can't get enough of bass fishing.

That's exactly how it starts for all of us!!!
Then there is the people around us that don't understand, that it is an ADDICTION.
Bass fishing becomes one of our primary goals in life, the "hunt".

For me it was a 3.5 LM in 73 had the tug bug from then on. As a kid it took 3 yard cuttings just to get the pistle grip ugly stick with a zebco 33. It worked until the shoping kart from the TG&Y snaped it, fishing rods on a bike ? shoping karts on the side walk at 4am?.#-o

I totally know what you mean!I used to do only trout and this year I started looking into bass fishing and I've been trout fishing exactly once since! and I've been out on the water at least once a week. I'm having a ton of fun figuring out how to catch a new fish.:)

I turned on to bass in '90 and went to Sammamish and had a unbelievaly crazy fun day with smallmouth in my 13'Livingston. Later that year for some reason I bought a pistol grip (don't even use em anymore) and took it up to Reiter after work to try it out. Stepped in between 2 guys and hooked an 8#er. These guys thought I was nuts. I don't recomend it because my wrist felt like it was broken by the time I got the fish in. After 21 years of bass I still feel like a kid when I'm on the water. Still learning. Like at Silver a couple days ago, with all my rods, layed down my spinnerbait on the deck most likely dangling my spinnerbait over the edge of the boat and when I went to make a few more cast with it a bit later it was gone. bye bye $450. When I first started bass fishing that would have maybe cost me $50. It's gotten a little more costy. [love]

Back in the day the pistle grips were the bass rods. Yea they feel like your wrist is going to break. Got to miss the old days. Let's not get started on the prices. This year the 1 doller spinnerbait has been the go to bait.
