Re: tackle recomendations Silver Lk (Castle Rock)
Those fish will be post spawn by then. Spinnerbaits are hard to beat that time of the year. Don't get suckered into fishing the island, as you will catch tons of small ones there! Target wood with a hard bottom. Most importantly don't let flat calm conditions shy you away from throwing that spinnerb...

Re: Cabelas Fishing Contest
Of the three bass that were caught on Washington last year, I know two of them came out of the canals. One of the fisherman was registered, but I don't know what his prize was. I thought I was fishing for a tagged fish on American two weeks ago, but it turned out to just be a fresh scare on his back.

Generally once you find a fish, you find multiple. A drop shot with a white snub, and short leader is hard to beat for smallies. Some fish will requir...

RE:HELP WANTED FOR NORTH LK WA BASS!
Don't wast your time North. I've fished that lake over two hundred times for bass, and seriously I've only caught two largemouth and one smallie down there ever. 99% of the bass in that lake are south of the 520 bridge. Good shore access areas to catch bass are at Gene Coulon Park, and in the montla...
