i been pick'n for decades. was a good year till the freeze i dry saute my chantrelles. if you look at other shroom threads you can find one from a few years ago has the process in detail but basicly ya toss the cleaned chunks in a fry pan ( i use cast iron for chantrelles it darkens them and adds ir...

so the weather has been perfect for shrooms ... but i've been busy with a logging/clearing project and in a race to get everything cleaned up and either covered up with wood chips or hydro seeded ... havent been able to get away aarrgggg ... but good news is the old woman retired again !! and demand...

as far as the shrooms in a bag goes .. yep plastic ... i'm be'n green lololol .... we re use 'em once and then use 'em again for trash can linners ... as far as the shrooms go they dont care ... i've heard the whole carry 'em in a basket spread the spore wives tale too ... i'm on the westside 'n it ...

so this is "Sis" the wonder dog !!! .. lol not really she's a dork and a pain .... she's wayyyy too smart, energetic, enthusiastic, orrr maybe i'm just too old to raise kids !!! ... in the pic she is lay'n on my bed !! .. and we're discussing the fact that it's about the 3rd or 4th time she had been...
