RE:Place to take the Grandkids fishing
You should take the down to Offut. We take our kids all the time and they limit out and have a blast. It is pretty easy to get to and they have a great dock, rent boats, camping and a lot of other stuff. I would say guarantee they will do great, but you know how fishing goes. They have a website also.

We have smallies on our lake but it is private. I have caught a few at Howell lake up near Belfair and also in a few other ponds up and around there.

I was only asking cause they are kind of ugly. I dont think that I would want to eat one. I'll stick with just about any other type of fish. Plus they are more fun to catch and then catch again.

Nice, probably from all that ucky poo in the lake, thanks for that info. One day you will have to come out here to our private lake outside Shelton to do some fishing and a bbq. Off to bed for me, gotta get up early and fish. LOL.

RE:Eating bass
Again thanks for the info, I know Taz is a big bass person. Gonna have to teach me a few tricks down on Offut. Do they have lots of bones? I might be more inclined to eat a smallie. :albino:

RE:Eating bass
Cool, thanks for the info. We ate a lot of crappies down in Arizona along with crawdads. Kind of a pain, but nice every once in a while. Do you clean them the same way? Anyways, thank you again for the info, I have been on the site for a while and never used the forums. [-x
