I fished Cassidy last year, and we found the Crappie directly across from the boat launch on the East side where you'll find lot's of brush etc.
The ones we caught were too small to keep, check the special regs for that lake.

Dead lake?
Went fishing with to of my buddies to Spring lake. I always catch perch here no matter what, but there was no sign of any fish what so ever? Did notice that the moon phase for 6-23-07 was at it's lowest? Do any of you guys know how much the moon really effects fishing? I'm totally perplexed, never b...

Bluegills and Sunfish
Buddy of mine hit lake Ki, said he caught too many to count. I remember doing the same there around this time last year. Just too dang far of a drive for me. Use worms with no weight and no bobber, use a black swivel, on a UL rig, #8 hook with worms or maggots, tossed under the cedar trees in the sh...

Ten foot worm action pole with a really nice old (1959) Mitchell 300, wound with 6# line. Also for sheer fun, a nice little 5 foot rod with a Shimano ultralight reel, strung with 4# line. I don't use any Berkley products whatsoever, just bait and lures or jigs. For Perch, I'll use their eyes which w...

WA. Fish Biologist e-mail about Yellow Perch
Thank you for your e-mail correspondence to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) Fish Program about perch fishing in Snohomish, King, and Pierce County lakes. One of our fisheries biologists, Chad Jackson, has prepared the following response for you: Before I begin, please note that...

RE:Lake Washington Perch?
I have caught only a couple of little perch from the docks along Lake Wash. Blvd.
We had better luck way up north in Bothell, in the Log Park.
Prior to that in a boat along the west side of Mercer Island.
It's a huge lake and they can be illusive.
Good luck.

Big Yellow Perch
Greetings, Well it's that time of the year again, and we're looking for the big perch. I have fished in just about every lake in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties that hold perch, and in the last three years I have noticed how much harder it is to locate perch over ten inches. There seems to be an...
