Banks Lake - Walleye on the Barker flats?
Hi, I will be taking my first trip to banks lake the first week in may. I've already done some research, reviewed some old threads and decided to spend at least one day rowing around the Barker flats casting for smallies. But, my real target for the trip is some Walleye, and I'm wondering if there's...

Sevylor boat accessories
Last year I picked up the 12' sevylor fish hunter hf 360. I like the boat so I decided to pick up the camo boat boot, as well as the wood floorboards. Does anyone else have any experience with these accessories? First, the floorboards I couldn't even get to fit or stay in one piece, and didn't even ...

Planning first trip to Banks Lake in mid May
Hi all, Going to be taking a little vacation in mid May and would like to fish Banks Lake for the first time. Targets will obviously be smallmouth and walleye, neither of which I have ever fished for before. First off, I will be staying south in Sun Lakes, so any good spots towards the southern end ...

Fishing Duck Lake in Ocean Shores around new years?
I'll be in town with my brothers, wondering if there's anything worth fishing for out there this time of year? If so, public shore/dock access would be best for us, though we may have our boat. I'm looking for whatever will give us the best chances for some action as well as the possibility of bring...

Fishing Ocean Shores this week?
I'll be spending a night in ocean shores this week, and despite the crappy weather, I'm wondering if there's anything worth bringing my fishing gear along for? I'm happy with anything that's table worthy, from perch on up - I'm rarely fished the coast and really don't know what's going on this time ...

Chambers Creek in pierce county?
I fished earlier in the summer and caught and released plenty of trout, but am wondering if there's anything left or coming through in the early fall worth fishing for? I haven't been down in a couple months now. Thanks,
Chris

Shore fishing from Lake Steilacoom?
This lake is not too far and I've never fished it, and wanted to try before things got too cold; however no boat so is there any places to fish from shore or the bridge? Also, if I could get my hands on a small rowboat, is there a good/public place to launch? Thanks,
Chris

Other shore fishing opportunites in Area 11...
I'm looking for angling opportunities in area 11 that don't require a boat... everything from perch to bottomfish to whatever, I generally prefer to fish for something that I can take home and cook up, though. Again, I have no boat, so I'm looking for shore/beach or pier fishing, and I don't mind a ...

Still pinks off Browns Point?
I've done pretty well out there this year but haven't been able to go for about two weeks, last time out I came home with two... is it still worth heading out that way, either in the morning or evening, or are the rivers the only hope for pinks now?

Fishing Puyallup with spoons and jigs...
I think I'm ready to give fishing the Puyallup another shot, if I can work my way around the closures which inconveniently fall on my days off, and was wondering the gear, techniques, colors, etc. used by those out there using spoons, spinners or jigs for pinks or coho? I'm not a huge fan of using d...

RE:So how are you cooking your pink salmon? Any good recipes?
I like to season mine with lemon pepper or garlic salt and basil, then a nice layer of cream cheese and chopped onions over the top, and bake or barbecue.. I also like to cook on a bed of rock salt as the fish turns out wonderfully moist.

Fishing the Puyallup on Monday or Tuesday morning - tips on crowds, location, gear and techniques?
So, I'm sure people are tiring of these questions by now, but I appreciate any responses. I'll be trying to fish the Puyallup early on Monday or Tuesday morning. My first questions is, how are the crowds on a weekday morning? I don't mind being around other anglers, but am not a fan of the combat fi...

Fishing Cowlitz in early/mid September?
Hi all, My family has a campsite off the cowlitz with private bank access just downstream of the dam, and I'm hoping to make it down there a couple times in the next few weeks. What should I be targeting (chinook, steelhead?), and what size gear should I be bringing? I don't want to go too heavy but...

When do pinks taper off in saltwater?
I apologize if this questions is answered in another post somewhere, but I can't find it... this is my first year fishing for pinks, mostly off of browns point, and I'm having an excellent time. I'm just wondering when we can expect the action to taper off in saltwater? Thanks,

Surf Perch in Westport?
Just got back from Westport and was a little dissapointed with the fishing.. decided to target red-tailed surf perch for a couple hours on Sunday and Monday, but nothing but small sculpins on the line (and plenty of those). It was the day after their surf perch derby so I figured it couldn't be too ...

RE:Fishing from the Westport Boardwalk.. suggestions?
Thanks for all the quick replies, everyone! I've got a few more followup if anyones still up for it... When fishing from the docks or jetties, what area rules apply? I get confused sometimes with areas 2, 2-2, the "boat basin," etc. Also, again with regards to the perch, should I just be still fishi...

RE:Fishing from the Westport Boardwalk.. suggestions?
There are definatly fish to be taken from the boardwalk, but I cant really figure it out. Ive tried time and time again and always end back at the same place. Dogfish. I have caught the biggest dogfish of my life form the boarwalk. And they are plentiful. Just 2oz of lead and a hearing is all you n...

Fishing from the Westport Boardwalk.. suggestions?
Hi all, My wife and I will be staying in westport in a few weeks and I was hoping for a few tips or suggestions for fishing from the boardwalk, as it will be my first time fishing there... what can I reasonably expect to catch? What kinds of bait/lures/rigs/etc? Also, anyone with advice on surf fish...

Fish Lake, Chelan County
Hi, New to the forum, so thanks for any responses. I'll be staying with the family in Leavenworth at the end of April and would like to give Fish Lake a try with my brother. Is the dock at The Cove resort the only available fishing dock on the lake, and do they charge for it's use if you're not stay...
