Re: Why Coho is Not Biting?
Not that I wish my failures in salmon fishing on others,....but it does make me feel abit better that despite my 40 years of trying to catch A salmon, to no avail, it is not just me that isnt having any luck. I too sat on the banks of the duwamish river, getting flipped off, and nearly wetted by the...

Re: looking for an aluminum boat
Thanks for the recommendation. We are looking into a 2003 jetcraft right now. We are waiting on the seller to get a marine survey so the bank will buy off on it. That hughes craft is just like what we are looking at. Very nice. I cant wait to get a boat in the driveway and get busy about fishing thi...

looking for an aluminum boat
I'm a disabled, and retired veteran who's looking for an aluminum fishing boat to take my family out fishing. Looking for something around 18 to 20 foot long. We are looking for a boat around the 10 to 20k range in good condition. We're in the seattle area.
Shoot me a message with photos. Thanks.

They look like the whitefish in the picture. All are about the same size, and they fight like hell for their size. Fun, but not what Im fish...

That picture looks just like what I was catching. Plus tons of rainbows. I saw one gorgeous sized salmon. Pissed or spooked it away.

Re: Nooksack Salmon runs
Well the salmon are in the nooksack!
Question, I was catching lots of small 6" rainbows, however I caught a couple silver fish that had no markings, and look like a 6" sardine. "They are completely silver, and with a forked tail. Any ideas on what these are?

Re: Nooksack Salmon runs
It looks like this is what I bought from wal mart. http://www.pautzke.info/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/blog2-IMG_0029.jpg However mine is more amber to brown in color like the second red pack shown here, and thick as bees wax. The fish seem to strip it off the hook quite quickly, so they must like it...

Re: Noon Rd access?
OK thanks. I saw the red gate about 100 yards away from the white gate on the corner of Noon and Abbott rd.
I saw lots of Quad tracks, but the big gate had "No Trespassing" on it. So I wanted to be sure.

Noon Rd access?
Does anyone know anything about the noon rd access point? https://onedrive.live.com/?id=root&cid=D6DA027F54CBB4D2 If this photo embedding works, there three really nice looking areas there. But despite there being quad tracks everywhere there. There is a No Trespassing painted on the red gate just p...

Re: Nooksack Salmon runs
I looked it up on the WDFW site, and I cannot find any schedules for the Lummi tribe, or the Nooksack. I called the Region 4 WDFW contact information center. They stated the Lummi Indian tribe does not share with them the netting schedules. However, I/we are free to contact the Lummi tribe directly ...

Re: Nooksack Salmon runs
Very cool! Ill be out tonight probably between 5 and 7pm. I usually fish upriver from the bridge. Tonight I may fish below. I know where some good sized coho are holding up right now. I may grab some roe to see if I can get them to bite.

Re: Nooksack Salmon runs
Ha! yesterday I saw several small fish jumping about. Figured they were trout, but yes at least you are catching something! I was out at yesterday at the Everson bridge and saw the small fish jumping everywhere. Decided to throw a rooster tail since the salmon weren't around, and they ended up bein...

Silver Lake (Whatcom County) success
Hey everyone, Im presuming for most this lake is out of reach for an evening fish, but with its top notch camp ground, cabins, and rental boats, a weekend would be a great trip. http://www.whatcomcounty.us/1937/Silver-Lake-Park" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishin...

Boating courtesy to land lubbers
I know most of us are courteous boaters, however, this should go without saying... Please if possible, slow down around those of us not blessed with a boat, fishing from shore. I know we all want to get up there and get our gear in the water, but come on. I have had my line driven over, waked off of...
