This one followed to the shore were I teased it several times to get it to bit. Though I Know this state ha...

1hr/1bite/1fish

Had time to run down to Myron to see if any Crappie are left in the lake as this lake is overrun with bait fisher's? Even the nice perch that were in there have seem'd to have been taken by them! Was able to bring up a nice 12 1/2"r though. Hopefully this one won't get taken illegally to!!!

I'll do a "how to" on a new topic in this section soon. Brownie pan/ clay/ fix-all/ wd-40/ your choice of plastics/ is what you need to make these easy fish getters. [thumbsup]

Re: Questionable fishing techniques

OK I'll bite, voluntarily, though I think you were really intending to "floss" this response all along. As a fellow fisherman, I respect and acknowledge your opinion, I just don't happen to agree with it. You need to read the entire regulation to understand the law and how it is enforced. Snagging:...

The whitefish from the Yakima river bellies are full of them. What you see are about the size of a size 14 fly That is required to fish for whitefish.

Re: Mega Myron MONSTERS

With these monsters fighting from below ice. How is the fishing line protected from rubbing against the ice hole? When a fish dives under the boat, the rod is stabbed straight down in the water to protect the line from rubbing. Same for ice fishing? I've never had a problem with ice cutting the lin...

Re: Mega Myron MONSTERS

Usually Myron is fairly clear down to 12ft this time of year but the water level is down which must effect the clarity which is about 6ft. These trout are brooders and have been fed pellets which are much smaller. the jigs I used were 1 1/2"s. most trout in these small lake/ponds mainly get tiny aqu...
