I'm headed to Ozette this weekend. I will be camping at cape Alava and at the mouth of the ozette river. Anyone know what fishing is like there? What should I use? Also, is that a reservation or national park land?
thanks!

New to summer steelhead- need advice
I'm a young angler looking to do some fishing on the Skykomish, Skagit, or Snohomish tomorrow. I've never really done any summer steelhead fishing before, and any general advice, lures to try, spots to go, or info on the current fishing conditions would be appreciated. Also, I've heard that there ar...

Unweighted spoons
I know this sounds stupid, but anyone ever tried casting unweighted trolling spoons like the coho killer off the beach with some weight added for salmon.? Sort of like casting a dick nite but with a bigger spoon?

Fishing near I-5
I have to go to Vancouver, wa for a day and was wondering if there are still any fishing opportunities within a few miles of the highway. I know it's a little late for winter steelhead, but I'm not an expert on that area.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Winter/spring puget sound beach fishing
Hi, I have been in Seattle for a few years, but since I didn't grow up here, I don't know many of the fishing opportunities, especially in the winter or spring. I was wondering if and how salmon can be caught by casting from the shore in Puget Sound during the winter and spring. I had also heard abo...

Lingcod from shore
I'm looking to do some lingcod fishing from shore in May, possibly from Edmonds pier. What is the best spinning setup, and best lures to use? I have some swimbaits and jigs from 1/2 to 4 oz. Also, any good spots besides Edmonds? Thanks!

Steelhead Hook regulations
Pardon my ignorance, but are barbless hooks required on the skykomish? Also are multiple hooks per line allowed? As in a dropper rig?I've gotten so used to barbless, single hook regs for saltwater salmon that I don't feel sure even though I read the pamphlet and don't see any special rules.

Steelhead river levels
I've never caught a steelhead, but I have plenty of the right gear and am hoping to try the skykomish a few times this winter. How critical is the level of the river to catching steelhead? It is very low right now; there has been very little rain, but there is some rain coming up in the next few day...

Snohomish/ Skykomish Coho
I was thinking of fishing the snohomish system for some late coho. Does anyone know where in the system has been good lately? Thanks

SW Coho
I am traveling north from Portland on I-5 tomorrow. I have very limited time, but would like to try to catch a coho. I have the option of fishing the Cowlitz or Lewis river. If anyone has any recommendations for which river, where on the river, or techniques and lures to use, I would really apprecia...
