Re: Garmin - problems with CV transducers

I was wondering why the newer Garmin units were half price recently. I was kind of bummed I bought the Lowrance after seeing how low the prices of the Garmin's were going for, but now I"m sure glad I did.

Garmin should give refunds for false advertising.

Re: Garmin Panoptix?

That was so smart to mount it on a separate pole. I was just locked into thinking you had to mount it to your trolling motor. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing. Very cool.

Re: Garmin Panoptix?

That's pretty amazing stuff. Have you been able to see bait fish schools in front of the boat? Also, if you were able to, could you tell what direction they were? That seems like it would be a huge advantage. I talked to the Garmin guy at the sportsman show in Puyallup and it was really interesting,...

Re: Where to get starboard?

I always wonder why there isn't a more readily available supply of that. Home Depot should sell it. I have a lot of applications for it but it's either too expensive or not available when I need it.

Re: motor and boat prices

I knew I wanted the Mercury 150hp Four Stroke, so I just google that and discount. I just went through and looked at all the marine dealers that had published prices. If I got an older but never sold motor the prices would go down. That was kind of my target area as I knew what they were selling las...

Re: Non Ethanol users?

I do see, now that I opened the application, the individual application area. That would sure be nice if it worked.

That's for commercial fleet vehicles only though. I don't thing my two boat fleet would qualify, haha.

Re: motor and boat prices

So I just got a new 150ph Mercury Four Stroke for my bass boat. I did my research online for what outboard was best for me, and for the cheapest internet price, and went to the boat show. When I asked for the dealers best price at all but one place, they just pulled out the book and read me the pric...

Re: Non Ethanol users?

I wish there was a station near West Seattle. If I want the E0 I have to pull my boat to north Seattle and even with good traffic it's over an hour there and back with a fill up. I wish I could use Pacific Pride in Burien, but I'm pretty sure you need a commercial card for that.

Re: Banks Lake Burbot?

I haven't tried fishing for Burbut in Washington, but I've caught them on fish scraps in Canada. I think they are pretty deep in the Summer time. I tell you one think though, to me they taste even better than Ling Cod deep fried, and I love Ling Cod. I've always wanted to try for some Washington Bur...

Re: WDFW Warmwater Fishing Prospects Report

Yes, thanks for putting this out. As a weekend angler it's really helpfull to narrow down the opportunities before heading out. That's some good info.

Thanks
