Thank you for the info. Im not going to be fishing for a few weeks. I live in PA and usually hit the river a couple days when Im out there visiting family. I just don't want to chance going home with a certificate for $1000.

Egg loop knots are always incorporated as part of the leader. It's typical to make your leader on the longer side and then cut it down to your desired length on the water. Its sad! I am planning a 10 day trip in July to fish the sky with cousins and now it may not happen.
