Re: Bank fishing?
Guess it's the fact I have a 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter (and will greet #2 first week of June) and thinking what would hold her interest combined with Pomdale's question that I suggested trying for panfish. Dad or Granpda might be happy pitching a crankbait or jig and worm trying to catch a walleye ...

Re: Bank fishing?
Completely forgot about Moses Lake. [blush] Even so, not many walleye bank angling opportunities for a 3yr old. While it's possible to catch a walleye still fishing from shore, it would much easier, and likely far more success, to target panfish from shore. Kids won't care what's on the line, just t...

Re: Logout not working
Still shows me logged in after attempt. I always "mark forums read" before logging out (that works) but my username remains after logout and I can open a new post or respond to an existing one afterward (posted reply to this after logging out twice).

Re: Bank fishing?
Banks and Roosevelt are the only places in WA where you might have a reliable chance of catching a walleye from the bank but that's with crankbaits or jig and a worm. Liberty Lake supposedly has some (elusive) but bank access may be a challenge.

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
Might want to confirm those batteries are actually Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) instead of Lithium Ion (LiCoO2) as labeled. The chemistry is different between the two and, from my research, it appears KS Energy sells both but labels them accordingly. Good read - https://batteryuniversity.com/lea...

Re: Sponsors hurting site
There are ways to eliminate pop ads but I'm not posting how here because they help generate revenue for site. I've been "unwanted ad free" here for a long, long time. I much prefer the supporting member option like was here years ago, BUT, look at how little traffic the forum actually has these days...

Re: New Boat/Motor thoughts.
5hp isn't going to make a hill of beans difference in how fast that boat goes, might see 1 - 1.5mph if that. However, it might make a difference getting on plane with a heavier load. Suzuki has been around for a long time and has a great reputation for reliability. One of the top outboards sold in A...

Re: Mandate Barbless Hooks For Lake Sammamish
I agree with AMX and see no need to punish other Sammamish anglers not targeting cutts or kokanee. If the restoration effort is so critical, and the kokanee fishery so fragile, CLOSE THAT FISHERY. If the cutts are in same jeapordy, CLOSE fishing for them too. This was done for Priest Lake and Pend O...
