Re: fuse/reset circuit breakers, & downriggers
I now think this is the best setup for me. This BS Circuit will be mounted close to the battery. YEP, i decided to go with fuses instead of breakers.
Sorry for so many confusion, I think my problem at the beginning is i wasn't sure what i want to setup.

fuse/reset circuit breakers, & downriggers
I have couple of questions. My GARMIM GPS antenna 19x HVS requires a 1 AMP fuse. (It's currently connected through inline glass fuse) I want to connect the GARMIM GPS antenna power through a on/off rocker switch, with reset button circuit breaker. My issue here is I can't find a 1 AMP reset button c...

Re: Edmonds Pier still under construction?
Thx for the info.
Real bummer with the Coho issue. I hope we get a better 2017 Salmon season. Appreciate that we have a short King Salmon season as oppose to NONE.
Squidding was hot last year and year before. Not sure about the cooler we have this year.

Re: MA-10 closes AGAIN!?
Ever since they started closing Elliot Bay back in the early 90's. EVERYTHING JUST WENT DOWN HILL from ZHIT to SCUM. The only ones who gets the blame and the zhit end of the zhit stick is US fisherman's. Our WDFW is (you can fill in the blank here) can't think of anything good. Do get me wrong, ther...

Noob to Halibut fishing on a boat. what setup?
So I am thinking about fishing for Halibut.
I want to know what is the most reliable cheapest setup. Rod & Reel.
And what braided line weight do I need for main line? 50# 100#?
Thanks All!

Daiwa Lexa 100HS, just how much line is enough?
I really like this reel..but So I want to know if 140yds or 12lbs Maxima UG is enough as main line for steelhead and small salmon. Maybe I can get by using 10lbs Maxima UG? that will give me maybe yards...160yds? (just guessing, not really sure) I not a big fan of braided lines. at least not on bait...

Re: RockFish limits? in Sekiu
hlindsay, I greatly appreciate your reply. I've gone through other forums and no one was able to respond. If no one responded, I was going to contact the WDFW. And I don't know why the WDFW makes it so confusing. All they have to say is: You can ONLY keep first 3 Black OR Blue rock fish; all other r...

Re: Where have you had problems with breakins or vandalism
Many few years ago, i was fishing up on the Skykomish river. I had nothing inside the car, i took my stereo faceplate with me. I do however have a back up fishing rod in the back of my trunk. I was greatful that they had missed what was inside the trunk. But they broke passenger side window, and sla...

I remembered when i was a young kid fishing for perch off the public piers in LK Wasington. It was fun to catch these fish actually taste great deep fried in batter and lather on some tartar sauce. Because I am more of Salmon, Trout, & Steelhead type of a fisherman. Is Bass fishing just as fun as Sa...

I always liked fishing the Edmonds pier using a bobber and fresh herring. Lots of fun, exciting when your bobber goes down. You should still be able to pull some silvers/coho this time of year.
