Re: Seattle Thug gets a thumpin!!
It doesnt really matter if someone is huge or super muscular, its all about how your brain reacts. In a situation like this you honestly wont ever know how you will react until something happens. The only real life example I have would be when I was about 15 years old on a river with my family and s...

Re: Winter Steelhead 2013/2014
Out here we had a banner year for silvers. It was so good I didn't even go out to the coast very much for the late runs. The Snohomish was so much fun. There is a late "winter" run of silvers, not very many, but we pick them up every so often out here. Yeah I figured it was pretty good over there. ...

Re: need advice
I believe they have horseback riding somewhere down there. It was quite a few years back when I did it, but that might be something the wife and kids might enjoy if you arent too far away from it when you go down. Wish I could be of more help for you like the name of the place that does it or where ...

Re: 2013 steelhead returns
I watched a guy two days ago nail two dime bright coho in 2 straight casts. This is probably the latest I have consistantly hooked into silver, I am thinking they are just going to be a bit later than is typical.

Re: Hooked a friend on fishing!
I would say you did exactly what you should do! Take your buddy fishing! I accomplished the same this year, as I managed to get my best friend out and hook and landed his first chinook and coho salmon. Needless to say, he is hooked lol! Keep taking him is all I can say. I would imagine the earlier p...

Re: Roe vs. Jigs
Good call Brat! My fault..I always just try to be on the safe side and when i see it's single barbless when i start fishing there, i tend to stay with single barbless without even reading the dates. Thanks for pointing that out to me!

Re: Roe vs. Jigs
I'd like to know which rivers you fish if you are saying "you could use trebles in most". Most salmon/steelhead water I know of is single/barbless. So in a river such as these would this dropper technique be okay to use? Such as a bead pegged under a jig?
