Sprague Lake Questions
I'm trying to find out what length of leader to use on a #7 Berkley Flicker Shad when trolling at Sprague lake. Also if it's trolled on a mono line or on a lead core line to help get it down a little bit? How long a setback works best? Ect? Any help will be very appreciated. I have heard Fishindoc i...

Re: 7.5 foot Livingston
David: I will definitely give Lost a try sometime. Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try. Even tho fly fishing is my 1st choice, I also like to use a variable colored leaded line with about 40 feet of mono in front to a small swivel , then about 42 inches of mono to a Old Goat1 lure in orange or p...

Re: 7.5 foot Livingston
David: I'm actually down near Castle Rock, Wa. I occasionally get up to fish Cady and Nahwatzel. Cady is 2hrs and 20 minutes from me. Nahwatzel is 1 hr. and 20 minutes from me. I usually fish a local body of water which is right at an hour away. It has been really good the last three times I've fish...

Re: 7.5 foot Livingston
Thanks for the support David. I went ahead and bought one yesterday. It came with a new 30 pound thrust electric motor, new deep cycle marine battery, 6-1/2 foot oars, rubbers/oar locks, 2 life jackets. I am pretty pumped with it. It needs a good scrubbing on the bottom side, but it is going to clea...

7.5 foot Livingston
Anyone have any ideas if a 7.5 foot Livingston boat would work well to fly fish out of on small lakes for 1 person? Are they stable enough to stand up in occasionally. Would 30 lb. thrust electric push it ok? Does it row easily. Is it balanced well for one person? Any suggestions? Thanks. Strike Zone

Coldwater Lake
Fished Coldwater Lake this morning. Old Goat lures worked great. 2.8 in. perch worked best today as well as 2.44 in. orange/white color, and also flies have worked some as well. Way too many fish in there for the food supply to support larger fish. Averaged 13 1/2 inches.

kokanee fish finder/depth/gps unit
My Lowrance HDS7 unit broke. I'm looking for any suggestions about what unit is out there that shows kokanee the best. I'd like one with the largest cone area possible. I'm open to all suggestions. Thank you for any help.

Re: Lake Chelan Kokanee Get Together May 3-4, 2014
Mike. Thanks for the info. I think we will be getting there 2-3 days ahead of the get together to try and figure out where the fish might be hanging out. Then the next week I think we might give Coffeepot a try for a few days of fly fishing for rainbows. Had thought about Omak for the cutts. but I'v...

Re: Lake Chelan Kokanee Get Together May 3-4, 2014
Mike: Sounds like a great time. I think the wife and I will have to join in the fun if the weather looks decent at that time. I have no top on the boat, so it might be too cold for us. We'll hope for fair weather. We would be staying at the Wa. state park which is pretty close. Thank you for organiz...
