Thanks for heads up! Never fished the Columbia before and going with my buddy who has fished it a couple of times. He's recommending the Dalles area but we're not firm on any area as of yet. Just know we will not be targeting chinook/steelhead but trolling and casting from his boat and along the ban...

Just discovered this river and fell in love! Heading back over in a week or two and would highly value any advice on this area...

Plan on camping near Cliffdell and fishing my way down towards Naches over a couple of days...
