14ft MFG runabout close to finished
I have a 14ft runabout that has a 25hp motor and trailer. The boat is solid. the motor needs some tweeks to run better but idles now. the controls are getting put in. the trailer has a flat tire but cheap to fix. And some rust. I am working at fixing it up but would part with it as it sits now for 1...

Re: any bodey wanna sponsor a 17 year old?
I dont know if it is just myself but I would not sponsor or even give someone the time of day who could not spell "anybody". I don't mean to be rude or anything but IMHO it is not hard to attempt to look professional or to even spell check on forums. Nowadays employers are going to peoples Facebook ...

Fishing Access Network
I volunteer for these guys and what they are doing is a great thing. They just got started up and need support so I think this is the best place to get their idea out to the public. Fishing Access Network is a non-profit corporation founded and operated by Veterans to provide our disabled Veterans a...

Re: PAY ATTENTION! LIVES ARE AT RISK!
I found a good horn at the local Walmart for 15 dollars that should "alert" anyone within a 5 mile radius.
I sounded it IN the walmart and pretty much everyone in there was pissed. Mission accomplished.

Re: Bowfishing Carp!!
Thats awesome! Were they commons or grass? because I know there are some people who rod and reel for carp and catch grass carp because they get huge and put up a fight. You cant bow them. if i could i would go to Campbell lake or Erie lake because there are some monsters in the shallows there. Thats...

Re: Bowfishing Carp!!
Anywhere you can SEE a common carp you can shoot it with a bow and arrow. you just have to aim lower due to refraction. Dispose of them properly and you're good to go. Its a great time. The adrenaline rush is great. I got started in bowfishing by making my own bow out of pvc and fiberglass rods. cos...

Re: Bowfishing Carp!!
Well I throw them in the woods. I make trees and animals happy. The water is already better off not having it in there. I can see grass carp being good but once the thousands that were stocked get to be about 40 pounds and turn into shallow water sharks I see them being bad and in need of harvest. I...

Re: Bowfishing Carp!!
Well I take them out to the wilderness and let the wild life eat them. Or I take them to a local plant store and donate them to become compost. Or I contact local restaraunts and see if they dont want them. There are a ton of reasonable options beside gutting them and floating them or just tossing t...

Re: Bowfishing Carp!!
Yeah crossbows are illegal but pole spears and my little compound bow are the ticket. I've taken carp with both legally and it is fun. I think using a crossbow would be no fun, too easy point and click. but a trigger release and compound bow give you such an adrenaline rush when you see that arrow h...

Bowfishing Carp!!
I have been itching to sink an arrow into a plump common carp... Only problem is I am in Island county and the only carp I can find is the protected grass carp (which should be harvested seeing as they are all at over 20 lbs in the lakes around here and can't be good for those lakes). I want to say ...

So it might not be that old but its pretty old (young compared to AMX...haha) I got the boat out of someones back yard scrap pile f...

Yeah anything more than some harsh words would have been a bad idea. Well that and turning them in of course. Haha Well thanks for the welcome! I am Navy however, I try to leave work at work and the only reasons it was brought up was beacuse Amx started it... (Good guy though no hate here) I will sa...

Re: PAY ATTENTION! LIVES ARE AT RISK!
Ok yeah going to the authorities has been established as the best course of action. I know that weapons and getting stupid can and will result in me getting into more trouble than the guy who almost sunk and/or injured/maimed me. (shoves bustinbeats off soap box) And to say that you would only use s...

Re: PAY ATTENTION! LIVES ARE AT RISK!
I agree on the opening day thing and the not brandishing a gun of any kind.. I really really like the fire extinguisher idea tho..
And if the navy has taught me anything its how many variations of the 4 letter words there really are.. And the use of them.

Re: PAY ATTENTION! LIVES ARE AT RISK!
Oh I was serious. My fishing buddy was holding my jacket so I wouldnt jump into their boat. He is the only reason the hulk didnt spider monkey onto their boat and start "smashing" In my case it would be a Ruger or better the Wingmaster but I practice too much with those to intentionally miss... Besi...
