Another reason that bass and bait fish move to where the wind is breaking on the shore is because there is more oxygen in the water at these points Especially in the summer when it has not rained in a while.

was on meridian on saturday with the fish camera. Every largemouth I found was sitting fat and happy in thirty feet of water and greater. we are stile a while out, too cold.

Lake Sawyer and Lake Meridian have produced some nice smallies for me and I'm also going to say it. TAPPS.

I don't think it is really accurate. I have caught smallmouth in the middle of winter. you definetly do get alot more action when the weather worms up and the frogs start croaking though.

Lake Tappps

Went out on tapps wednesday. Water temp was around 47. Hit two smalleys in around 27feet of water both were right around the two pound mark. I usually have a back seat open if anyone is interested. Are there any other lakes that are producing many fish?
