Need Berkley IM7 8'6" top half
I need the top half to a Berkley (Buzz Ramzsey series) IM7 8'6" spinning rod. It broke beneath the 2nd guide last week on a very nice fish. Unfortunately, I bought this a few years ago and Berkley won't replace it. If anyone has a top half lying around, I'd be more than willing to buy it from you. T...

RE:Sealion steals mans fish & net...Video
i had a very similar incident with a harbor seal this year fishing for pinks at Dash Pt State Park. I was out in my 8ft row boat, hooked and landed a fish. As I had the fish over the side of the boat to remove the hook, the seal bit onto the fish thru my net, I struggled trying not to lose the fish ...

RE:Derelict Gill Nets on the Green River
thanks for the state link, I just filled out there full report form so hopefully they can get out there soon before the silvers start running thick....but not expecting the state to jump on it right away. If all else fails, I'll take G-Man's advice and hit up King 5 for some media pressure.

Derelict Gill Nets on the Green River
hey everyone, Saw these abandoned nets along the river near the powerlines on the Green River (actually behind the Annex Tavern) and was not surprised to find several pink salmon caught in two different nets I found. It's sad to see fish caught in abandoned gear and though it would be a much worse f...

RE:Jig arsenal for Dash Point Pinks
i fish dash pt in my little row boat. I slay them with a 1/4oz jig with a pink mini hoochie. I've done it under a float and just straight casting and they seem to like it more without the float. I cast then just lift my rod super slow (not even a twitch) and they just nail it. It works good in the r...

i was there saturday too 8-4pm...we slayed them between the three of us. probably about 11 a piece, ended up only keeping two of them between all of us. it was disturbing to see one boat out there just raking fish, not flossing, RAKING...not only were they using treble hooks in saltwater but they we...

Elliott Bay Clean-out? Fishery Test?
So I've heard rumors that on Wednesday the State paid one of the Indian Tribes to test the salmon fisheries in the bay to see what kind of runs they should expect over the next few weeks. Of course there was multiple nets being deployed and the I guess usually they obtain about 30 salmon per net. Th...

RE:Area 11 opener
i didn't get out on the water unfortunately. on salmonuniversity.com, they said that the area 11 opener was "good" with the largest fish at 18lbs. Pretty sure I'll be making it out there this weekend.

RE:Need a small lake near Seattle that allows gas motors.
American would be ideal...was there on sunday and released around 20+ fish (mostly stockers) from 7am-noon. only thing is that it was really crowded over the weekend and the boat launch was a zoo but once you're on the water its alright.

Bank fishing in Lake Washington
hey everyone, I've been trying to target smallies on the banks of LW for the past few weeks to no avail. I live in Seattle and normally try to hit coulon, seward park area and madrona from the shore or off docks. I dropshot around any structures I can find and still can't get any to bite (if they ar...
