Re: Salmon Burgers
I like your name Fishho. Hahaha. The other thing when I make patties I don't use Chum. I use Sockeye, Coho or King mixed with Pink salmon. I prefer good fish to cook with Our Chum around here is just crab bait for me. I only eat the eggs.

Re: Cleaning Fiberglass.
I used Scrubbing Bubbles and Tilex with no luck at all. I tried Clorox spray cleaner and Perfecto. It worked like a charm. The lil dingy looks good now. Is there a fiberglass boat sealer that I can apply to the boat? On the bottom of the double hull part there are scratches it looks like from someon...

I get and use wool shooters gloves the palm area has leather for better gripping. The also have the the feature of pinning back the upper finger cap. Nothing keeps you warm like wool.

Re: Rats taking residence within vehicle engine compartment??
I live down by Lk wa and its Rat heaven around here. Theres no stopping them. I have bait stations around my house and inside. They can squeeze in the smallest openings. Ive had pest control to the house. Thank G-d they haven't found any signs of them in the house. You need some homeless nearby. The...

Re: Salmon Burgers
The patties I was talking about come from Costco all pre made using Keta alias Chum and pinks. When I make my own I bake the salmon then mash it like you would tuna. I add bread crumbs , eggs, diced onion, chopped parsley, and eggs. I form patties and fry them. I serve them with lemon wedges and coc...

Re: Favorite crab bait
We have different techniques. I let my chicken or turkey get defrosted then set them out till they turn. I just find that fresh or freezer burned fowl work just fine.

Re: Favorite crab bait
Freezing is fine. Refrigerator is fine too. I've used whatever clams I can find. Horse clams stay in the bait cage better. Break the shell before putting them in.

Re: Water Pump on Honda Outboard
Give me a hammer and nails and I can build. Motors forget it. I'm all thumbs. My dad never taught me mechanic work. He was a builder. I'm gonna try a couple pointers and see if its a fixable thing for me. If not I'll just have to grin and bear it for the mechanic. I'll ask around more. Time for the ...

Re: Water Pump on Honda Outboard
One thing for sure is there were wasp nests under the cowling. I got rid of them but there was some mud here and there. I got a 32 gal garbage can to try. A friend said maybe the hose was hard enough. It has lower hours . I cant believe its the pump. I'm hoping for a clogged hole or line. Thanks for ...

Water Pump on Honda Outboard
I called a few places around town to change out or do diagnostic checking and its very expensive. I called a couple Mobile Marine Places and that's really wow. The cooling pisser isn't spitting water out. My question is, How hard is it to change out the water pump? Do I really need to pay $165 and h...

Spring Gardening
I got out about mid day to pull weeds and turn the soil . Tomorrow I'm hoping to get my first row of Snow Peas in the ground. It was too snowy and cold last week. Today was great. It was sunny here all day. I need a couple more days of sunny days.
Re: My Father
Although I'm sad I'm relieved also. The past 6 months for dad were very hard. He had a Trachey tube in his upper chest/ throat. He lost his ability to talk. He was on morphine all day and night. I hated to see him this way but I was very close and loved him very much. I took my dad to band practice ...
My Father
Its been a crazy year for me. On Thursday evening I get a call from my fathers nursing home that I need to come there right away. I watched my father pass away. Today is the funeral. My dad was my best fishing partner. He bought me my first rod and reel. It was a Phluger Supreme with a Wonder rod. I...

Salmon Burgers
About a month ago I was watching the news and a story on Costco's food quality. The story made it to "Salmon Burgers". They are made with Chum and Pink salmon and not bad at all. They are made by Trident Seafoods. I get some buns with tartar sauce, tomato , lettuce, and a sliced pickle. It makes a q...
