I caught my first steelhead at the Fortson Hole about 20 years ago. A very good hole across the river from the old Fortson mill. Its a beautiful small river, think small and light gear. I haven't fished it since we moved to Spokane 16 years ago. Lee

Hawk Creek Kokanee
I have been camping at the Hawk Creek campground for nearly every fall in the last 15 years. We used to see many spawning and spawned out Kokanee at the waterfalls. About 5 or 6 years ago there were fish traps with signage about collecting spawners for a hatchery. It seems like we never see the spaw...

For walleye launch at Connelly park and go to the right a short ways and troll slowdeaths or worm harnesses. It's shallow, arouind 11ft deep. Near the house with the flag. Lee
