Eloika has 7" as of 1/5/13. Bear has 4" as of 1/5/13. Sliver has 3-4" as of 1/4/13 and buddy said fourth and hog has 3-4" as of 1/4/13. Hope that helps. See ya on the ice. GL and be safe fishing.

Thanks! Yeah its a little less crowded up there and easier to locate the fish. Once you find a hot hole it gets pretty Crazy! Lots of wade fishing in 30° water and weather tho! Clearwater Steelies!!
Last years Video if my biggest steelhead on the fly rod! 36" 15+ pounds! Had to cut the film short. It honestly took 20+ min to reel in and walked me over 200 yrds. Can't wait till 2013 run. Enjoy

Honestly my freezer has more frozen fish then meat :tongue: Even tho i did tag out, im pretty generous with the meat and give decent amount to close family and friends to enjoy. ^^thanks. It was a super hard year for hunting. I put in lots of mile and work. I was VERY bless to get tagged out again this year. Hopefully i can get tagged out again next year with my new archery setup;)

Try your local craigslist. Sometimes they have some decent rods. Cabelas sometimes have habe sales on there entry level rods around $40-50! It definitely worth it. GL

If you are planing to take the kid, try bear lake! I Destroy the perch there and they also have some super big triplord. Eloika, newman, liberty, Wattis are my favorite lakes for panfishs! GL;)

Go with a 5w 9ft (i perfer 10ft) 4 piece is more easy to break down and more stiffer! 2 piece is fine too and generally more sensitive (better for dry flying i think.) Gives it a better landing presention. Then you have your 3, 5 pieces ect.... First, you want to see what action you perfer. By that ...
