RE:Leech Lake
Unfortunately I never made it to Leech saturday morning. #-o The remodeling effort at the cabin ran into some issues friday night when the outer walls were revealed to have no insulation what so ever, so i ended up staying there saturday morning and fixing the issue with my dad. Ill be at Riffe this...

RE:RIFFE LAKE SILVERS! AMAZING!
According to the posts, this must have been a Coho since this fish had some razor sharp teeth! I know this because my sisters boyfriend and I both cut our fingers on the teeth when trying to get it out of the lake. So Koho it is, sorry, no pic yet, i was swamped with work and weights last night. Soo...

RE:RIFFE LAKE SILVERS! AMAZING!
No fish ladders on Riffe. The lake is a compound formed by the creation of Mossyrock Dam on the Cowlitz river just West of Morton. The Cowlitz River is dammed by a few dams, however Barrier Dam, about 10 miles downstream of Riffe, was not installed with a fish ladder, thus the spawning salmon come t...

I can rule out the Steelhead idea, this was no steelhead. The black mouth and silver body excludes the steelhead. Ill have pics to heat up the debate as soon as my sister gets them to me,

RE:Exotic Weeds, does the State really want to stop the spread, or is it just politics?
I am a Natural Resource major graduating next year from the University of Minnesota-Crookston. We have studied the spread of noxious weeds from lakes to lakes and I can tell you that politics plays a HUGE role in the ordeal. However, it is proven that removing weeds from trailers, boats, props, gear...

RIFFE LAKE SILVERS! AMAZING!
Hey all, I was just wondering what the biggest Silver (Kokanee) seen come out of Riffe Lake either at the Fishing Bridge, boat, or Mossyrock Dam. The reason I ask is because I was there Friday morning with my sister, her boyfriend, and my cousin. At 7 in the morning, my sis hooked into a MONSTER, an...

Mineral Lake Brown Trout
Can anyone give me some background info on the Brown's in mineral lake? I will be up there Friday or Saturday, one of those mornings for sure! I am looking for bait, lure, and location (probably shore spots) for finding the browns! Thanks!

RE:Cabelas in Yakima???
That makes two Cabelas in the Northwest now! My parents were traveling from Tri-Cities to Cour D'Alene and stated that there was a Cebela's going in somewhere between Spokane and Cour D'alene! Can anyone from that area put any truth towards this?

Columbia River/Lower Yakima Smallies!
First, I would like to leave a report. I fished Columbia Point last Friday (from shore and wading) and managed 3 decent smallies in an hour, had one my first cast. The biggest was 14 inches and the smallest 8. Used a new rapala deep diving crank bait, gold and black in color. Crankbait was just skim...

Columbia Point Smallies
Has anyone had any luck at Columbia Point lately, fishing shore access around the mouth of the Yak? I've heard its HOT right now and will be heading there thursday night. If anyone has info, please share. I usually use a small wiggle-wart but am looking for other ideas. Please help!

RE:Lower Snake and Lower Yak Bass
I saw your info on fishing across from Fishhook park, however, I am not too sure how to get there, if I am coming from Tri-Cities towards Burbank, where do i turn off before crossing the Snake River?

Lower Snake and Lower Yak Bass
Does anybody know of any good shore access points for bass fishing on the Lower Yak and Lower Snake and Columbia around the Tri-Cities area, within and hour? My cousin from Minnesota is coming in and he is wanting to hook up some smallies. Any info is appreciated!
