I found that if I spooled heavy thick line on and then practiced out on the parking strip it worked well. With the heavy stiff line when it does birdnest it is fairly easy to straighten out and continue to practice. Then move on to the line that you would normally use.

Easy to enforce. If the gill netter wants a new net, bring in the old one to recycle or show documentation that it has been declared/reported lost and where. One or the other or you don't get a new net.

It's time to replace the inexpensive failing depth finder. I've been looking at the Lowrance Mark 5X DSI Down Scan Imaging Sonar. It sells for about $300. Does anyone have experience with this unit or have better suggestions? Thanks

The indians do have the right to the fish they produce (Note that they get the eggs from the states voughts creek hatchery).
