If you can get 2 consecutive days off Bob is right, those lakes down there get no pressure and the river has thousands of spots to stop at, the river is also a place where your next cast could kick out a PB as well And thanks, ...

I've caught them at American from shore, just go exploring. This time of the year is perfect, a lot of the lakes I'm sure can and will produce from shore, just start hucking baits
