I assume you are talking about a huge pontoon boat.....if so you will have a lot of trouble launching at Swofford. I also believe it is electric motors only. Mayfield is best for trolling around a worm and catching trout all day long. I have seen the muskie many times, but they are very shy to bite....

If you are going to get a trailer you may as well step up and get a real aluminum boat. I bought my pelican bass hunter for the reason you can put it in the back of a pickup and don't need a trailer. Again, a jon boat will give you more leg room even though both boats are the same length the design ...

Riffe Smallmouth and new boat launch

FYI----new boat launch at far end of Riffe is open.....one ramp/no dock/HUGE gravel parking lot. Take a right turn a mile or so before fishing bridge.


Anyway, how does one hit the smallmouth on Riffe? Such a huge lake I need some advice/tips to narrow the hunt.
