Pretty good fishing at Deer lake. Sam and I fished off the public beach and caught about 7 rainbow trout ranging from about 12-15 inches. All of the fish had gross parasitic organisms on them that made them look very unattractive. Sam said that the parasites have been there before and it seems to be a "summer" thing. First time on Deer Lake and I thought it was a very nice lake.
