Fished silver this morning, and I must say I was not prepeared for the size of the fish in this lake (if you catch a 5 pound largemouth with a hot pink wiggle wart in its mouth email me, i would like it back). In addition to the lost crankbait, my net also suffered severe injuries from an angry musky my father in law hooked into. I'll bring a bigger stronger net when I come back. Hard to believe a fish that size isn't even legal, but he measured out at just over 33 inches. If you intend to catch one bring gloves, my fingers are shredded from his gill plates. All in all a fantastic morning.
