As usual, Pass has provided some excellent fishing this Winter. The lake is sporting the usual crowds until sundown, when the less-hardy wrap it up. The rewards for frozen toes and numb fingers at midnight are often great on this lake, however.
Tonight's adventure yielded nonstop action, at least for my fishing partners and the now infamous "VonDickenstein" streamer. I myself was condemned to an evening of few strikes, most of them missed at that. Oh well, I can only hope to find a way to appease the fish gods.
Shallow and slow for browns, deep and a little faster for rainbows-- that seems to be the trend. Get out there and freeze off some digits-- it's worth it.
