Son and I hit the lake at about 8:00. Trolled for trout for awhile without a hit. Thought we would try for some panfish as this is why we came to this lake but to no avail. Caught one small perch while trolling and that was it!! No bluegill, crappie, NOT ANYTHING!?!? Wanted to slap myself upside the head for taking my son to this lake for his first panfish catch! Water was not too warm, lake was not yet turning over. Beats the the old man but were not gonna try again till fall.
