Me and a buddy went out to the lake for the first time and had high hopes. Read a report on the lake that there were two 24"ers caught on the lake and were looking to make it 4 caught on the lake. We fished the northeastern shore and both of us caught 1 each. Both about 6" to 8". We trolled around a bit and still nothing. It started to get really hot so Bobby decided to row to the far western edge. At this point we had been fishing about 4 hours and were about out of steam. We cast in and wham I caught 5 within 45 min. Decided to go after that because it ws cooling down and the BOSS (wife) was calling. Good lake and we will come back later when it cools off a bit.
