Tried Marshall for the first time this morning. Easy drive following posted directions with excellent public access. A deep watered lake with relatively undeveloped shoreline in a beautiful mountain setting. Dad and I tried a variety of tackle but enjoyed our best luck slow trolling green wedding rings tipped with worms behind double willow blades (silver) and 3.5 to 4.5 colors of line. We worked the waters about 100 feet off shore, hitting Cutthroat of all sizes in many locations. Best concentrations of larger fish this day seemed to be across the face of the small bay to the left of the launch. The fish we kept were 10 to 13.5 inches.
