My best friend & I arrived at Stan Coffin around 8:30 pm. The heat & mosquito's were unbearable. We couldn't sit outside because of the mosquito's & couldn't sit inside our motorhome because of the heat. We didn't get to sleep until 1:00 am because of the heat. We got out onto the lake around 8 the next morning. The horse flies where atrocious but the mosquito's were gone. When we where out in the lake the horse flies were gone. We would set anchor (because of the wind) fish for awhile & move until about half way up the lake we hit the crappie. We fallowed the school all over the lake until 4 that afternoon. Yes, we caught a bucket full ( as was reported by someone else on this site) but we only kept 6 in all. 4 crappie & 2 blue gill. When we got back to camp the horse flies tore us up so we packed up & went to Clear Lake, Yakima Co. P.S. I out fished my best friend for the first time this year. OUT
