Got to the lake early this morning and fished the north end floating slowly from east to west with an egg sucking leech on type III line. I started about 100 feet of the north end of the lake and moved south a bit with each successive pass. My leech wasn't in the water 10 minutes when I had my firt 'bow, and the bites were slowing but still good when I left at 1:00. Some sort of algae bloom going on right now (the launch area looked like a green oil slick). I'm new to flyfishing and hadn't been to Pass Lake before, but I know I'll be going back.
