Fished Brown's for 2 days, June 30 and July 1. Water temps mid 60s. Light winds and mostly sunny, temps mid 80s. Still able to catch fish but had to go deep to get them. Kick finning with a constant trolling speed would not work. Had to get 15-20 feet down and slowly retrieve back to the surface. Hare's ear, prince nymphs, zug bugs and olive/tan AP emerger nymphs all drew solid takes if fished at correct depth/speed. Mostly cutties this time, 3 of which were 16", and only a few rainbows. Broke camp a day early (July 1st) when a small army arrived due to July 4th weekend, completely filling the campground. Several members of this small army were armed with loud, foul mouths, copious amounts of alcohol and blowup mattresses in lieu of rafts!!! What a sight! I hope they make it through the weekend OK.
