I spent the morning fishing with my best friend ED (AKA, The old hooker). Got to the lake at 6:00AM fished untill about 10:00am. Had great luck the whole time out. Note (the park boat launch is not open untill 7:00 AM). There is however a public boat launch just past the park launch that is open all the time. We were after kokanee and not interested in anythig else. (no more rainbows please) Our fishing totals were 12 kokanee and one more rainbow. Only brought home nine kokanee for eating. I was lucky enough to win largest and most fish titles but The old hooker managed to pull off the first fish win. All the fish caught were nice size for kokanee the 11" to maybe 13" range. The rainbow was about 11" and pretty spunky going after a trolling setup. Note the water ski people are out at exactly 9:00am (legal time to ski ). You won't like fishing very much once there out. (lotts of waves)
I will only give away one secret about how to. (use a dodger 4/0000 and a wedding ring)
