Went to Fish Lake due to wanting to fish some fresh water. My expectations were not real high because I've never done real well there in the past. Launched at 7:30 and had the place to myself. Finder showed the fish in 20 feet and less of water. Got all kinds of strikes, some soft and some hard but no fish, while using a leech pattern. Went smaller, to a pheasant tail....not a real good move! Now the sunfish had something they could get their mouths around! Caught several of them and 2 small tigers, 8-9". Went back to the leech to avoid the sunnies and began slowly kicking around in 15-20 feet of water. Got 2 more, 1 tiger and 1 brook, both about 14" and lost a couple other sizeable fish. The wind got kinda strong toward noon so I left. I've heard that Fish is best in the evenings...maybe tonight.
