Arrived at McNary Dam at 0600.... Fished all day.... trolled my secret color..... didn't get a bite until 11:40.....Then BANG ! A 47 lb Salmon.... fought fish for one hour and twenty minutes. Went home tired but happy..... LOT'S and LOT'S OF PEOPLE CATCHING STEELHEAD BUT NOT ME. Go Figure... I'm not complaining ! whooo hooo ! I'll take a big salmon any day. Trout is the mortal enemy--fish till ya drop.... P.S. Yes, I did drop after the fight with the salmon...
