Went over to Lake Kapowsin this morning at 11:00am and picked up five beautiful trout by just trolling with a wedding ring tipped with half a worm. I've found it helps to use a rudder blade to keep the wedding ring from twisting the line.....also a 3/8oz weight gets it down to where the bigger fish are hiding.....so my line is set up in this order: weight, ball bearing swivel, rudder, and a 3 foot leader on a green wedding ring with three red beads right in front of the worm. This set up brings me a limit of fish in just two and a half hours most days, and a little longer on the slow days. See you there!
